Botulinum toxin : more commonly know by the brand name ‘Botox’, botulinum toxin is a molecule that has been used for more than 20 years in neurology and ophthalmology to prevent muscle contraction. It is used to diminish facial expression lines. Depending on the type of toxin used and the amount injected, Botox has a greater or lesser blocking effect on the facial muscles to suit the wishes of the patient. Results become visible from three days after treatment, reaching their maximum by day fifteen. A further consultation after 2 weeks is systematically suggested so that any retouches needed can be applied. For continued efficacy, the treatment should be repeated 2 or 3 times a year.
Hyaluronic acid : occurs naturally in the skin, giving it hydration. Injecting hyaluronic acid acts as a dermal filler for restoring the volumes of the face. Laughter lines, frown lines, temples, dark circles around the eyes, lines above lips and in the area around the mouth are the main parts of the anatomy that may benefit from this treatment. Hyaluronic acid acts for between 12 and 24 months, depending on the injection site.
CAHA (calcium hydroxyapatite) : as a volumiser and inducer, injecting calcium hydroxyapatite creates a temporary replumping effect of the face and also stimulates the local production of collagen in the patient. Retoning the facial tissue and the resulting lifting effect make it a real alternative to more invasive surgical techniques.
Mesotherapy : micro-injections of hyaluronic acid cause the skin to rehydrate and have a tensioning effect. Ideal for preventing skin ageing, creating a very natural radiance.
Peeling : the local application of glycolic acid lightens brown spots, evens the complexion and closes pores. Peeling also helps relieve acne scars.
Laser : blotchiness and sagging skin.
